Grand Teton National Park Discovery and Visitor Center

Scope:
Through an intensive collaborative process with the consultant team Spearhead was able to detail and prefabricate the highly complex steel and timber structure for this 35,000 square foot building. Spearhead manufactured and installed the entire exposed structural log and glulam system, along with an extensive scope of fabricated structural steel components and interior millwork items. Our project partners were able to utilize precise information from our digital information model which facilitated the simultaneous pre-manufacturing of various complex assemblies off-site - thus supporting the compressed construction schedule. This publicly funded project required strict attention to budget and construction scheduling.
