Spearhead played a pivotal role in developing a framing strategy to address the 30-foot cantilever and knife-edge roof profile this project called for. An adjustable truss was developed for the roof system to enable “tuning” the structure through the construction process to ensure precise tolerances could be achieved in the finished product. Spearhead supplied a comprehensive scope of fabricated components, including primary and secondary framing, complete with pre-cut penetrations for MEP, glazing, and envelope. This coordinated approach helped substantially reduce the project duration and mitigate risk associated with skilled labour shortages on island.
