The Tofino Beach House, designed by Olson Kundig, is situated on a coastal site adjacent to the Pacific Ocean. Given the project’s remote location and corrosive environment, a prefabricated approach was chosen to enable an efficient construction process and deliver a durable building system. Spearhead took charge of fabricating an extensive scope of work for the project, encompassing both the primary and secondary structures. Additionally, a fully coordinated CNC-cut formwork system was fabricated off-site to aid the builder in achieving an unparalleled level of coordination in the concrete work.
